Downtown Kelso is vital to the City’s long term economic and social well-being. Located near the geographic center of the City, historic downtown Kelso is uniquely accessible by rail transit, local streets and enjoys easy access from Interstate 5. The historic character of Downtown makes it a landmark for the entire Community. Downtown Kelso should be the site of civic events, parades, festivals, and public celebrations.

It is our goal to work with residents, particularly downtown businesses, to make the historic downtown area a source of civic pride. To forward that effort, the Kelso Downtown Revitalization Association (KDRA) has been established and has proven itself to be a group capable of sustaining long term efforts towards the betterment of the downtown area.
